City of St Charles School District

A Proud Past...An Enlightened Future

The Success Campus is an alternative center that provides a smaller learning environment for students who are considered credit-deficient. The Success Campus is home to three programs: the St. Charles Alternative Program, the Missouri Options Program, and the Re-entry Program (students who are on long-term suspension).

The Success Campus is designed to meet the needs of At-Risk students. At-Risk students are individuals whose educational outcomes are in jeopardy because they are experiencing academic deficits, have become disillusioned with school and learning, or are impacted by other factors which impede educational and social development.

Students at the Success Campus follow the same curriculum as other District high schools. However, a variety of instructional strategies enhance student success; students have a blended curriculum where some courses are taken online using Edgenuity System software. This computer-based program provides common core curriculum and assessment tools to match skill levels of all students, whether on a developmental, remedial, or enhancing learning track.

The school day is structured differently - half the day will be spent at the Success Campus. The other half is spent at their sending school. Sessions begin at 7:35 - 10:40, and the afternoon session is from 11:20 - 2:20. Youth Experiencing Success Program allows students the opportunity to earn additional credits at a faster pace than the traditional high school settings.

Breakfast and lunch are available at the student's sending school. Students can utilize accounts and PIN numbers to purchase food.

Students may apply to attend the Success Campus if they are a semester behind in credits. To apply, students must contact their sending school counselor.
